Dec 17-18 A Trip to the Dentist

Main idea:
Brushing teeth is important.  Flossing is important.  Choosing a good dentist is important.  Paying regular visit is important.  BUT, these have nothing to do with the fear.  I DO HATE DENTISTS!

也可以說be afraid of, be scared of, be frightened of
line 3 scary-looking看起來恐怖的
如果你還記得「好看的」就叫做good-looking
你就不會覺得太難啦~這只是其中一種複合形容詞的用法:Adj-V-ing

我們可以說

line 6  wear out這邊當然不是「穿」的意思,而是「磨損」
這是顏氏美語網路字典上說的:

磨損;用舊;耗損。

例句: He wears his shoes out rapidly.
