After exercising/taking exercises/working out in the gym, Joe always takes a shower.

1. 分詞構句請特別注意用法啊～after後可接完整子句，或省略主詞的Ving/p.p.
2. work out是固定在健身房運動(do physical exercises)的說法

 

 Linda的父親在發現他把頭髮染成金黃色時，氣得手握拳頭。

When Linda's father found that she had dyed her hair blonde, he clenched his fist.

When Linda's father found her having dyed her hair blonde, he clenched his fist.

1. find後面可以加that子句，也可以使用find+O+OC的用法
2. clench用法，讓我們看看朗文字典怎麼說：

clench your fists/teeth/jaw etc

to hold your hands, teeth etc together tightly, usually because you feel angry or determined:

Jody was pacing the sidelines, her fists clenched.

另外，有人用了clutch這個字，非常傑出，不過，這個用法是錯的喔～～
clutch中文意思雖是緊握，但同義字是grab, grasp等，也就是說他其實是緊抓住某個東西的意思，和clench one's fist這邊固定的搭配詞用法並不相同！請大家特別注意。

當Oscar的女友說和他在一起她感覺不自在，他瞭解她暗示要離開他。

Oscar's girlfriend said she didn't feel herself with him, he got the message that she would leave him.

1. message拼法請注意，有人寫massage，這是馬殺雞！都要分手了，不需馬殺雞！
2. 一如往常，請注意時態，所以如果前面是said, got,後面請接would leave，而非will leave

不論她到何處，這個像模特兒般的女孩總是吸引人們的注意。

Wherever she goes, this model-like girl always catches people's attention.

No matter where she goes, this model-like girl always catches people's attention.
1. 吸引人們的注意：catch people's attention, catch people's eye, attract people's attention, draw people's attention
2. model like girl或是the girl that is like a model

演講者如此幽默，以致於所有聽眾都哄堂大笑。

The speaker was so humorous that he had all the audience roaring with laughter.

1. speaker再寫成speecher的人，我真的會進入你的夢，痛扁你一頓！
2. humorous是形容詞，表示有幽默感的，名詞才是humor，再錯的人，我會扁你兩頓！
3. audience當聽眾的意思時為集合名詞，多視為整體。例句：The audience was respectful of the speaker's opinion.因此，『所有的聽眾』不需加S
4. burst into laughter為突然大爆笑， 與原文稍有不同，但仍可接受。
