Oct 11-12 The Interview

Main idea:
Joan, an Asian girl immigrated to the U.S., shared her expereicne working in a tech company, Fortune 500.  Before the employment, she went through a three-round internview, which dealt with different aspects of observation.


First round: phone interivew with the HR department.  She learned that honesty is a must.  She got herself ready by reviewing my resume and preparing for questions about her background.

Second round: face-to-face interview.  She arrived early so that she had time to clear her thoughts.  She found it more like a behavior interview in which her personality rather than her actual ability is observed.

Final round: face-to-face interview conducted by 5 people from the hiring department.  She answered all kinds of question, including some that did not pertain to the job.
